What is Makeup Coach?

Makeup Coach is a one to one, personalised makeup coaching session aimed at women over 35. Makeup Coach provides you with renewed confidence in your ability to take control of your beauty and celebrate your innate vibrancy through self-expression, colour and support. Through a series of re-acquaintance and realignment sessions Melanie guides you through the plethora of technologically advanced products now available and the simple techniques that ultimately allow you to say “This is me!” Melanie supports your vision by encouraging you to embrace your life experience and re-discover your beauty. Melanie gently encourages you to take control of your beauty and apply makeup to yourself, with your own hands and then practice on your own.

How does it work?

There are 2 methods that you can use to take part in Makeup Coach: 

Skype is a face to face, flexible and convenient resource that is WAY underused in today's society. It is becoming more and more popular though and is not just a tool for famillies separated by continents and by people living in remote areas. Skype can be used just like a phone with the added bonus of little to no fees*

Skype allows me to offer a personalised, collaborative experience in the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the world at a time of your choosing! I would even go so far and say that it is 'hands on' as you are applying your own makeup with my guidance, as if I was in the room with you!

Plus, as a bonus you get to keep a video recording of your session/s for use as a reference tool later as a DVD or downloaded digitally and stored on your computer as a library of personalised advice and reminders of each session.

*Skype is a software application that can be downloaded and installed on your computer simply and at no cost. It is available world-wide on all PC’s and Mac computers. It allows users using Skype at both ends, to make voice and video calls over the internet with excellent visual and audio quality. In Person

Face to face, flexible and convenient, I offer a personalised, collaborative experience in the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the Lower Mainland! You are applying your own makeup with my guidance, with me in the room with you! There is an additional travel fee if you're outside a certain area, however even if you live down the road you still have the Skype option.

Each client starts with a no-obligation 20 minute consultation over skype or phone (with 2 emailed photos with and without makeup) to discuss your current makeup routine and what you want from your session/s. This allows me to get an understanding of your needs and from there I can 'prescribe' what route to take via a series of sessions as outlined below.

After your initial consultation I will suggest 2+ subjects for a 90 minute session from the list below (all sessions include application techniques and shopping advice):
